Oktoberfest is CRAZY

Happy 35th Bday Jeff Meirick

What a day 1 in Germany. We got out and rented the Lederhosens and Drindls and got dressed up for a big night, Oktoberfest and the Paulaner Festzelt didn't disappoint! The Paulaner tent ( they are called tents but are really big structures, multilevel) has been a part of the big event since 1895. A staff of nearly 350 people serves a crowd in the tent and beer garden that reaches 8,500 revelers at the Paulner tent alone. Nearly 6 million people attend Oktoberfest each year. We had an absolute blast. Including lots of pics and hopeful some video (sound on). BTW, in the video everyone is standing up on the benches and tables! The Germans know how to party for sure.

We are headed back over there today and will try a few of the other tents as well but it will be hard to top Paulaner. There 17 large tents, similar to Paulaner, and 21 smaller tents so we will have lots of options.
